As this is the first post to the blog, it should be about explanations…
So, I will put this in simple FAQ format…
Que.1 Why this blog?

The blog – Kutch Tourist is for the tourists who have visited Kutch and have loved Kutch as a tourist destination. They might like to share some memories, experience, pictures, information of the places they visited. Most welcome…!!!
Not only that, the blog is also for each Kutchhi Maadu residing anywhere in the world. Each Kutchhi Maadu always want our dear Kutch to be a hotshot tourist destination. We want more and more tourists to visit Kutch and enjoy the nature with harmony and warmth of local people. For that we need to share more and proper information of places of Kutch which are worth visiting. So, start sharing…!!!
Que.2 How to share?

Right now, one can send the details one want to share on email: kutchtourist@gmail.com I will analyze and post the details as soon as possible with necessary corrections if required. After some time, those whoever regularly contributes will be made co-author of the blog, for better handling.
Kindly don’t forget to fill the details of the place in excel file which you can get on this link: http://www.4shared.com/document/gu98Fupb/kutch_tourist.html
Please do attach the filled excel sheet in the mail in which you are sharing details of the place. The excel sheet I am mentioning has many details which you can give regarding the place, fill whichever detail you have or you can arrange. I will try to collect rest of the details my self then. You can also add some extra details which may not be specified in the sheet for better information.
Que.3 What More?

You can suggest more tools or activities that can be utilized for the blog. E.g. I have started poll gadget, where you can vote, even you can suggest me which poll should we make to collect opinions. I have also added a gadget Pic Of The Week, where I will update the pic every week, from the pictures of kutch submitted by you all. You can also suggest which kind of any such activities we can include in the blog.
So, that’s all I think I need to explain. Will update questions if I will be asked more questions regarding the format. Remember this blog is for noble cause and not for income generation or any specific commercial project’s publicity, so hope there will be no such requests from your side too. Hope we will have fun together.
Lastly, will like to introduce my self to those, who doesn’t know me. Myself, Hardik Raychanda. I am B.E. Civil, having my own Civil Engineering Consultancy Firm – “Aashiyana Engineers & Structure Designers” at Mandvi – Kutch. I am resident of Mandvi – Kutch and like every kutchi, me too is very much generous about development of Kutch as a tourist destination.
